About Us
Little Willow School House is an early childhood program designed for 3-and 4-year-old children. Within a small and self-contained classroom, children are allowed to explore the environment with a wonderful balance of learning and play. The curriculum will follow weekly and seasonal themes with engaging activities to facilitate developmentally appropriate skills in literacy, math, art, science and music.
The Little Willow School House program will also provide the setting for your child to practice social skills that are fundamental in early childhood development and beneficial to their success in future academic pursuits. Being independent from family, functioning in a group (i.e taking turns, listening, sharing, following directions) and self-help skills are several examples of these fundamental social skills. Together we will play, learn and grow with a strong daily emphasis in art, nature, music, and reading.
Program Details
Little Willow School House consists of 8 students and 1 head teacher per state licensing regulations. Our class is a combined age group of 3 and 4 year old students. School hours run from 8:30 am to 12 pm or 2:30 pm, Monday thru Friday, with 2, 3, or 5 day options.
School will follow the Falmouth public school calendar September thru June including holidays and vacations. Snow days will follow Falmouth snow day policy i.e., if there is no school in Falmouth, Little Willow School House will also be closed.
